Pencil skirt is a timeless, fitted midi skirt. It features a back zip closure and comes without pockets. To ensure a flattering fit, the skirt includes four darts in the front and four in the back. While it has a regular waist, it can be customized with different add-ons for curvy or straight silhouettes. Also, you can choose to make the skirt with a front slit, back slit or back vent.
The pattern does not include pattern pieces for lining, but instructions for how to create a lining pattern and line your skirt are provided as an attachment at the end of the assembly instruction. Or you can visit TAL Sewing journal for a detailed tutorial. Best suited for advanced makers.
