FABRIC NEEDED:
Fabric width 110-120 cm and 140-150 cm
3-4 years 0.9 m / 5-6 years 1.0 m / 7-8 years 1.2 m / 9-10 years 1.3 m
Suggested fabrics are light to midweight fabrics. The denim is sourced from Rekotex who creates life to leftover fabric by offering high quality fabrics from leading fashion brands. Bought through Sustainable Makerroom .
YOU WILL ALSO NEED:
Fusible interfacing
Thread
5 cm wide elastic tape. Length 60-65 cm. Measure the waist and add 3 cm (includes seam allowance to overlap)
Option: If you cannot find an elastic waistband that is exactly 5 cm wide you can use any width you prefer. But make sure to change the width of the fabric waistband to this formula; - The width of the elastic waistband x 2 + 2,5 cm.
