Q: What is the difference between an A0 and Copyshop PDF file?

A0: Standard page size of 36” x 48”, if your pattern is longer than 48” it is split into multiple pages by the pattern designer.

Copy Shop: Standard width of 36", but can be as long as necessary, so your pattern can print as one long page. Our standard page length is 48” anything over this length will require extra payment of $1.25 CAD per linear foot.

Q: Do you print A4 or letter-size patterns?

No, we do not print A4 and letter size as this is for a standard home printer, our printing services are for wide format printers and must be either A0 or copy shop.

Q: What if my pattern has layers?

Some PDF pattern files contain layers for each size, this allows you to have specific sizes of your pattern printed.

Just let us know in the "special notes" section which ones you would like printed and we will take care of the rest!

Not all patterns contain layers, so please know that if you request certain layers and your pattern does not contain layers the pattern will be printed as is.

Q: What does it cost to print my pattern?
A0 pages: $5 CAD/page

Copyshop: $1.25 CAD/linear foot

If you have both an A0 and a copyshop file, then usually the copyshop file will be cheapest. 

Q: How do I find how how many A0 pages my pattern will be?

1. Open the A0 PDF pattern file in Adobe Reader (click to download)

2. Click Control-D

3. The bottom left hand corner will tell you the size of the file

4. Round up to the nearest inch

5. Divide by 12 then round to the nearest foot

6. If the file is 33x46, then that will be one A0 page of 36x48 printed. Each page is 36" wide / 4 feet and you can calculate the total by multiplying the number of pages by 4

Q: Where can i buy PDF sewing patterns?

We offer a wide range of PDF patterns directly on our website!

Alternatively, most pattern makers sell PDF files directly on their websites with immediate access to the PDF files which can be then uploaded here in an A0 print purchase.

Q: Can you print in colour?

No, we only print in Black and White at this time. 

Q: Can you alter files?

No, we cannot alter pattern files in any way. Our maximum width is 36", if your file is larger than this we will not be able to print it at 100% scale. 

Q: Can you combine my simplififabric.com order with my A0 pdf prints?

Unfortunately, we aren’t able to combine orders from SimplifiFabric.com and SimplifiPrintShop.com as the fabric shop is located in Ontario and our A0 print shop operates out of BC.

We’re “sister shops” but ship separately from different locations. Thanks so much for your understanding!

Q: What is the processing time:

Usually 2-3 business days after payment has been received, but faster if we can!

Shipping: 

We ship worldwide with Canada Post from British Columbia Canada. 

We reserve the right to ship parcels with Purolator, UPS or Intelcom/Stallion Express options at our discretion.

If your order has the wrong number of pages purchased, we will email to notify you of this and send the appropriate invoice with additional pages plus shipping.

Returns:

All A0/Copyshop PDF printing is final sale. No exceptions.
