The Madeline Frock is the classic wrap dress with a twist of old fashioned elegance. This style is inspired by a Bird and Kite dress that I saw and loved. It can be made in a light cotton for summer days or a vibrant velvet for the holidays! This style features full length sleeves with a 2” thick elasticated ruffle, a simple darted bodice that attaches to a skirt yoke with a proportionally long ruffle.

FABRIC
Wovens: Any light to medium weight woven fabric. Cotton, Linen, Velvet, Satin, Organza, Corduroy, Brocade, Jacquard
SIZING AND FIT
Size 0-20 US see size chart.
Bust is based on a B/C cup.
Choose the size that is closest to your waist measurement. If you have a larger or smaller bust than the B or C cup I encourage you to choose your waist measurement and do an adjustment for the bust area. (here is a reference: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zg4uF3rdRWQ)
The wrap construction allows for a little room to be made in the waist while wrapping the garment on your body so feel free to size down if you like a tighter fit. The skirt has a yoke that falls above the hipline. The hipline falls where the hem ruffle is, leaving lots of room for larger thighs. Grade in or out if your hip is smaller or larger than the given size.
Model is 5'4 (B:36 W:28 Hip: 38) wearing size 8.
