Loose unisex sweatshirt.Very comfortable shape with raglan sleeves.Sweatshirt: hip length
The loose fit is close to that of the Jasmin sweatshirt sewing pattern; similar hips length with a little more chest width to give a more sportswear and "loose" look to the hoodie sweatshirt. As always with ikatee, it is strongly recommended not to make the size above (so to make rather a 3 years for a child of 3 years to referenced measurement standards).
Hood with facing, opening placket with buttons, side pockets

Skill level :  intermediate

What you will learn with this pattern: put a ribbing at the cuffs and lower body, assemble a placket opening in the raglan armhole, assemble and face a hood with enclosed seams, assemble side pockets.

Size range :  3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 years

Fabric recommendations:

  • Main fabric : terry fabric, fleece, polar fleece (to get a loose sweatshirt), Cotton or cotton/elastan
  • Fabric 2 : For hood facing/lining, placket facing and pocket bags : poplin, or jersey
  • others : rib fabric (for cuffs, and bottom band) or use main fabric if stretch enough
