Sew up warm and cozy Polar Slippers for the whole family with this pattern! These slippers are perfect for cold nights at home as well as for camping. They are easy to sew, use minimal fabric, and very comfortable. Add optional applique motifs to the slippers for a personalized look. To make these less slippery on floors, add some grip fabric to the bottoms.
Sizing:
Shoe Size - Child: 0-8; Youth: 9-13 & 1-5; Women: 6-13; Men: 6-13
Fabric Suggestions:
PolarTec 200. Fabric MUST have crosswise stretch (about 30%) for accurate sizing.
Applique Fabric: Any tightly woven, lightweight fabric.
Fabric Requirements:
45" or 60" (115 or 150cm) - Child: 1/4 yd (23cm); Youth: 1/2 yd (34cm); Women and Men: 1/2 yd (46cm).
NOTE: If you want to make more than one pair of slippers, and if fabric is 60", you can
usually get 3 pairs of Child's, or 2 pairs of Youth's, or 1-1/2 pairs of Women's or Men's
slippers out of the length required for one pair.
Notions: Polyester thread.
