This is a casual soft cotton canvas from India in a deep blue/grey with a chalky matte finish. This fabric is not pre washed, always pre wash your fabric to get rid of any shrinkage (see below). The fabric will soften after being washed and the colour will be ever so slightly more washed out.
We’ve called this a soft canvas as although it has a canvas appearance it isn’t ideal for garments that need lots of structure. You could also use it for bag linings or cushion covers. The image of the jacket is a pattern hack we did for our Foreman jacket..
- We recommend keeping this cloth separate for the first wash.
- Machine wash cool at 30 degrees with a non bio detergent, do not tumble dry.
- Iron on a low setting.
- Do not dry in direct sunlight.
- This cloth has a shrinkage of 10%.
