The Lab coat is a workwear inspired coat with a mid-length style. Features a hidden button front, a clean round neck and large patch pockets for added functionality.
This is a multi-size pattern that comes in two size ranges, including either XS-L or XL-3XL. Seam allowances are included in the pattern.
The paper pattern comes carefully packaged in an envelope together with a step-by-step assembly instruction, in English.
Fabric Requirements:
140-150 cm fabric width
XS-S 2.7 m / M-L 2.8 m / XL 3 m / 2XL-3XL 3.4 m
110-120 cm fabric width
XS-S 3.4 m / M-L 3.5 m / XL 3.9 m / 2XL-3XL 4.0 m
Depending on which look you want there are many suitable fabric choices.
To have the workwear touch suggested fabrics are heavy weight fabric, such as canvas, twill, panama, denim, corduroy.
For a dress-like version choose a light to mid weight fabric such as linen, denim, cotton twill, wool, lightweight canvas. Perhaps skip the hidden button front and choose visible buttons and no lower pockets. Or if you’re looking for an even softer variant, more like a cardigan or kaftan, choose a light weight fabric, visible buttons and no pockets.
