In Storyboek Drie we brought back one of our favorite characters from our earliest days as Birch Fabrics! Inspired from memories of colors and illustrations I remember from children’s books and nursery rhymes as a child, I drew this collection to be reminiscent of the beauty and art that inspired me throughout my youth to be involved with design and color study. My mother was a crafter in the seventies and eighties making ornaments out of dough and wood and hand painting them. She loved Deutsche wood carvings and oil paintings and growing up I loved to look through her old Art history books. My mother has been a great inspiration to me throughout my life when it comes to arts and crafts and this collection is a dedication to her.
