A mid-heavy weight Italian wool in a soft grey/green twill. Perfect for a warm winter coat.

This is an overstock fabric. Overstock fabric is excess fabric from fashion designers, movie sets, and fabric mills that is no longer needed for the job it was originally intended for. It is not re order able, so when it’s gone, it’s really gone.

  • This cloth could be used either side.
  • Dry clean only.
  • As all computer monitors show colours differently, we recommend ordering a sample of the cloth to check it is the right colour and weight for your project. To do so click on the ‘buy’ tab and then ‘add sample to cart’.
  • Fabric can be ordered in 10cm increments. The minimum order is half a metre. For example, if you want 2.8m’s this is what you type in the box.

    Wash at 30 degrees on a delicate cycle, with a low spin setting, using non bio detergent. Do not tumble.

    If you can submerge the fabric in water before washing to prevent any white lines from appearing.

    Tencel is made from wood pulp that’s harvested from tree farms that are sustainably managed and traceable. The fiber production itself is more eco-friendly than cotton production due to its’ closed-loop process. This means that up to 99% of the water and solvents used are recycled and reused.

     

  • If you are using this cloth for curtains we recommend using a lining to prevent fading.
  • Wash cool on a delicate cycle with non-bio detergent and a gentle spin.
  • Submerge fabric in water before putting in the drum.
  • Do not tumble.
  • Shake out and dry flat.
  • The surface texture of Tencel will go more chalky and less sheeny once washed and lived in.
