Pattern: Breezy Romper from Brindille & Twig
1. Print & Cut out pattern to the desired size.
2. Sew around the placket template.
Step 3: Sew shoulder seams.
Step 4: Serge on the neckline
Step 5: Fold plackets and serge the top. Pin plackets on the top of the sewn guidelines, flip over and sew the sides of the guidelines, fold inwards and then sew the bottom.
Step 6: Serge around the sides and the top of the plackets.
Step 7: You can choose to do the arm ribbing now, and serge down the side. Alternatively, you can sew down the sides of the garment and then serge the sleeve ribbing into a loop, fold and then sew. Tack down the serger tails with a straight stitch on your sewing machine.
Step 8: Serge the bottom of the garment on both sides.
Step 9: Fold/Iron the serged end inwards and stitch leaving room to thread elastic through.
Step 10: Tack elastic down, thread through to other side and tack down again. Complete for alternate side. Serge both ends.
Fold bottom inwards, tack down all serger tails, from the placket/neckline down to the bottom of the garment to ensure a clean finish.
Step 12: Mark for snaps, apply snaps with snap pliers, and COMPLETE!
